A Houston Painter Who Still Shows Up Himself
WAR Construction is Wilian Rodrigues and his crew: interior and exterior painting and drywall across Houston, quoted in writing and walked with you at the end. Hablamos Español.
Small company, straight answers, careful hands
WAR Construction is a registered Texas LLC run out of east Houston by Wilian Rodrigues. It stayed small on purpose — the person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to it, and the phone number on this page reaches him rather than a call centre.
We do two things: painting, inside and out, and drywall — hanging, taping, floating, texture, and repair. Keeping the list short is what lets us spend the extra day on prep that a general contractor juggling six trades usually can't, and it means the crew that floats your ceiling is the crew that paints it.
Houston is hard on finishes. Humidity, hurricane rain, and Gulf sun will lift paint that went on over dirty siding or a damp patch, so we scrape, wash, repair, and prime first, and we schedule around the weather instead of the calendar. It costs a couple of days up front and saves years on the back end.
Everything is quoted in writing before it starts, in English or Spanish, and the final invoice waits until you've walked the job with us and told us it's right.
What we stand for
Six standards we hold ourselves to on every project — big or small.
Prep First
Patch, sand, caulk, prime. The invisible work decides how long the visible work lasts.
Straight Answers
Real timelines, itemized quotes, and a call if something changes.
Two Languages
English or Spanish, from the first quote to the last walkthrough.
Respect for the House
Covered furniture, protected floors, and tools packed up every evening.
Finish That Passes the Light Test
Flat walls and matched texture, checked under raking light before we call it done.
You Sign Off First
The final invoice comes after your walkthrough, never before it.
A better service experience, by design
Generic promises are easy. We focus on the habits that actually make the difference.
Four steps from first call to final walkthrough
A clean, predictable process so you always know what's next.
Call or Send Details
Tell us the rooms, the house, or the problem wall. We answer in English or Spanish and set a time to come look.
Free Written Quote
We measure, note the repairs, and put surfaces, coats, product, and a start date in writing. No charge, no pressure.
Prep, Then Finish
Repairs and prep first, finish coats second. You get told what's happening each day and when we'll be back.
Walk It Together
We go room by room with you in daylight, fix whatever you point at, and only then send the final invoice.
